Since our goal is to offer our customers a personal service, we consciously forego an online shop, except for Best Alpaca Bedding™ products. The conditions for purchasing Best Alpaca Bedding products online can be found in the Online-Shop T&Cs. You can purchase all other products in person in our Alparama Farm Shop. In certain circumstances we also supply other products upon request.

General Terms and Conditions

Please read the following terms and conditions carefully. 

All deliveries and services that Alpaka App GmbH, hereinafter referred to as “Alpaka-Appenzell”, provides for the customer are carried out exclusively on the basis of the following General Terms and Conditions in the version valid at the time of the order. Deviating regulations only apply if they have been agreed in writing between Alpaka-Appenzell and the customer.

The customer makes a binding offer of contract order. Alpaka-Appenzell will immediately confirm receipt of the customer's order.

Alpaka-Appenzell is entitled to accept the contract offer contained in the order within three working days of receipt by Alpaka-Appenzell. Alpaka-Appenzell is also entitled to refuse to accept the order, for example after checking the customer's creditworthiness.

The conclusion of the contract is subject to the reservation that in the event of incorrect or improper self-delivery, delivery will not be made at all or only partially. 

In the event of non-availability or only partial availability of the service, the customer will be informed immediately.

Payment terms

Sämtliche Preise verstehen sich in Schweizer Franken (CHF) und exklusive Mehrwertsteuer. Transport und Verpackungskosten werden gesondert berechnet. Die Zahlung hat grundsätzlich netto innerhalb von 15 Tagen nach Rechnungsstellung zu erfolgen. Alpaka-Appenzell behält sich das Recht vor, Neukunden und auch bestehende Kunden nur gegen Vorkasse oder per Nachnahme zu beliefern.

Return and Refund Policy

Overview

Our refund and return policy is 20 days. If 20 days have passed since your purchase, we cannot offer you a full refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition in which you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.


Items Excluded from Returns:

Certain types of goods are not eligible for return. For hygiene and food safety reasons, perishable items such as food, especially meat and sausage products, as well as gardening products like Terra Preta and plant charcoal, cannot be returned. Gift cards are also non-refundable.

There are certain situations in which only partial refunds are granted:

  • Any item that is not in its original condition, is damaged or is missing parts for reasons beyond our control
  • Any item returned more than 20 days after delivery
Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to inform you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If your approval is granted, your refund will be processed and a credit will be issued to your original payment method within a specified number of days.

Late or missing refunds
  1. If you haven't received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. 
  2. Next, contact your bank. It often takes some processing time for a refund to be posted.

Special promotion items

Only regular priced items can be refunded. Special promotion items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges

We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you would like to exchange it for the same item, email us at info@alpaka-appenzell.ch.

Gifts

If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you will receive a gift credit equal to the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift voucher will be sent to you.

If the item was not marked as a gift when purchased or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will refund the gift giver and they will be notified of your return.

Shipping Returns

To return your product, please send it to: Alpaka Appenzell, Hinterarnig 250, 9105 Schoenengrund, Switzerland.

You are responsible for the cost of returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, return shipping costs will be deducted from your refund.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
