General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
Scope of Application
As our goal is to provide our customers with a personal and direct service, we operate an online shop only for selected products (e.g. Best Alpaca Bedding™).
Other products are sold on-site at the Alparama Farm Shop or upon request and may be delivered where applicable.
These General Terms and Conditions (GTC) apply to all deliveries, products, and services unless explicitly stated otherwise for specific product or service categories.
Different or supplementary conditions may apply to certain product and service categories, which are regulated separately in these GTC.
Provider and Contracting Party
Depending on the product or service category, contracts are concluded with different providers:
- For textiles, alpaca products (including alpaca hides), Camelibra alpaca and llama mineral feed, and items offered in the online shop, the contract is concluded with:
Alpaka App GmbH (Alpaka Appenzell), CHE-114.400.033 - For the following products and services, the contract is concluded with:
Markus Robert Bischofberger, sole proprietorship, CHE-110.748.454:- Terra Preta and soil products
- Compost services
- Rental of agricultural machinery
- Honey and other agricultural products
The respective responsible provider is the contractual partner of the customer.
General Terms
All deliveries and services are provided exclusively on the basis of these GTC in the version valid at the time of the order.
Deviating agreements are only valid if confirmed in writing.
By placing an order (e.g. on-site, by phone, or in writing), the customer submits a binding offer. The respective provider will confirm receipt of the order.
The contract is only concluded once the respective provider expressly accepts the order.
The respective provider is entitled to accept or reject orders within seven working days of receipt without stating reasons.
If a product is not available, the customer will be informed without delay.
Payment terms
All prices are stated in Swiss Francs (CHF).
The providers are exempt from VAT as agricultural businesses under applicable Swiss law. Therefore, no VAT is charged or shown.
Transport and packaging costs will be charged separately where applicable.
Payment is generally due within 15 days net from the invoice date.
Invoices are issued by the respective responsible provider.
The respective provider reserves the right to deliver goods wholly or partially only against advance payment, cash payment, card payment, or cash on delivery.
For deliveries by post, payment is generally made by invoice enclosed with the goods.
There is no entitlement to payment by invoice.
Payment Processing and Methods
Payment is made using different methods depending on the product, provider, and sales channel.
External Payment Processing (e.g. duvets)
Für bestimmte Produkte (z. B. Best Alpaca Bedding™ Duvets) erfolgt die Zahlungsabwicklung über einen externen Zahlungsanbieter (Payrexx).
In this case, payment is made via a payment form for which
Alpakaland Schweiz GmbH & Partner, Riggisberg Riggisberg is responsible.

Payments at the Alparama Farm Shop (on-site)
For purchases made on-site, payment may be made as follows:
- Cash
- Card payment (e.g. credit card, debit card, TWINT)
- Payment by invoice upon prior agreement

For products and services of
Markus Robert Bischofberger, sole proprietorship, CHE-110.748.454,,
payment is generally made by invoice.
For smaller sales (e.g. Terra Preta in bags), payment is required on-site in cash or by card.
General Notes
The respective provider reserves the right to exclude certain payment methods or to offer them only upon prior agreement.
For payment processing via third-party providers, their own contractual terms apply.
Shipping and Delivery upon Request
As a general rule, there is no entitlement to return or refund products.
Sales are typically made on-site following personal consultation or based on individual agreement.

No Returns for Postal Deliveries without Prior Inspection
For products delivered by post, there is generally no right of return or exchange, as the products are ordered without prior inspection by the customer.
Exception: Best Alpaca Bedding Products (Duvets)
Special conditions apply to Best Alpaca Bedding products.
These products may be exchanged within 20 days of receipt for a duvet of the same size in a different warmth level, provided they are in perfect, clean condition and in their original packaging.
No Returns for Certain Products
The following products are excluded from exchange and return:
- Food products (e.g. meat, dried meat, honey)
- Animal feed (e.g. Camelibra alpaca and llama mineral feed)
- Garden and soil products (e.g. Terra Preta, biochar)
These products are excluded from return due to their nature as well as hygiene and legal regulations.
Services:
Services are provided by different providers depending on their nature.
Dienstleistungen der Alpaka App GmbH
Services such as breeding services (mating), shearing, and other alpaca-related services are provided by
Alpaka App GmbH (Alpaka Appenzell), CHE-114.400.033 .
For these services, individual agreements apply regarding scope, price, and scheduling.
There is no right of withdrawal or cancellation unless expressly agreed.
Services of Markus Robert Bischofberger
Compost services and other agricultural services are provided by
Markus Robert Bischofberger, sole proprietorship, CHE-110.748.454, .
For these services, individual agreements apply regarding scope, price, and scheduling.
There is no right of withdrawal or cancellation unless expressly agreed.
Rental of agricultural machinery
These services are provided by Markus Robert Bischofberger, sole proprietorship, CHE-110.748.454.
The rental of agricultural machinery is governed exclusively by separate Rental conditions.
Sale of Animals
The sale of animals (e.g. alpacas) is carried out exclusively on the basis of individual contracts.
These GTC do not apply.
Applicable Law and Jurisdiction
Swiss law shall apply exclusively.
The place of jurisdiction is St. Gallen, unless mandatory legal provisions provide otherwise.
