With our stud males, we offer breeders the opportunity to selectively improve their herd with proven Swiss top genetics.
Our males stand for well-typed alpacas with expressive heads, harmonious conformation, and the popular Accoyo or “teddy bear” look. At the same time, we place great importance on high-quality fibre characteristics: full coverage from head to toe, good fibre length, fineness, density, crimp, and brightness.
The goal of our breeding program is to produce offspring that not only impress visually but also deliver a high fibre yield. This creates the ideal foundation for processing the fibre into high-quality products.

Our Stud Service Process
As successful breeding typically requires multiple matings, our stud service is carried out exclusively on our farm. Your female will stay with us during this period and receive professional care to ensure optimal conditions for a successful pregnancy.
To monitor breeding success, we carry out regular spit-off tests. This proven method allows us to determine whether the female has conceived and ensures a targeted and reliable breeding process.

Note on the TB Health Program
We currently do not participate in the NWKS TB health program. Therefore, we can only mate females that are also not part of this program.
This decision is related to our farm structure as an agricultural operation with dairy cattle and pig farming. In Switzerland, tuberculosis in cattle is monitored, among other methods, through inspection at slaughter; the Federal Food Safety and Veterinary Office (BLV) considers this an important part of TB monitoring.
As our alpacas partly use pasture areas that are also connected to our other livestock operations, we prefer to carefully observe further developments and clarifications regarding the framework conditions.
For breeders who are not part of the TB health program, our stud service offers a valuable opportunity to benefit from high-quality and proven genetics.
